Centre of Nanophotonics (CNP)
The Centre of Nanophotonics (CNP) at the Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP) supports all research groups at the ISSP and additional researchers at the department IV in the preparation and characterization of electronic and photonic devices. Processing facilities comprise 130 square meters of clean rooms (class 10 to 1000), including e-beam and photo lithography, wet and dry etching, metal and insulator deposition, and more. In the area epitaxy different metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) systems for the deposition of group III-V compound semiconductor materials and nanostructures are available. The CNP is divided into four work areas including epitaxy, processing, preparation and characterization. The CNP is currently headed by Prof. Dr. Stephan Reitzenstein.
A virtual tour inside the clean room is available here [1].
